 How to display mathemetics properly?
怎样才能在浏览器上正确地显示数学符号和式子?
StarPoint uses MathML to display Mathematics on the web. To test if your browser is capable of rendering Mathematics properly, please look at this formula: `x=(-b+-sqrt(b^2-4ac))/(2a)`
If it looks like this image then, congratulations, your browser is capable of displaying math properly.

You may also notice a warning the top of this page if your browser is unable to display Mathematics.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 on a windows platform (WinXP, Windows 2000, Windows 98) then please visit the Design Science's website, download Math Player and install it. You must be using Internet Explorer 6.0 and above.

If you are on a non-windows platform, or if you are on a windows platform but do not mind (or prefer) to use an alternative broswer, download the latest version of FireFox and install it. StarPoint online test centre work perfectly with FireFox. You may also have to download math fonts from MIT. Here are the direct links.

 I forgot my password. What should I do?

 I received email to ask for activation of my account, what should I do?

After successfully registered, an activation link will be sent to your email address. You will need to click on the activation link to activate your account.

  I can't activate my account after clicking on the activation link. What should I do?

There are occations where by the activation link is broken in the email. If that happens, try copying the FULL address link and paste it on the address bar on a broswer to activate your account. If you still encounter problems logging in, contact us at admin@starpoint.com.sg.

 What if I want to try it out first?

If you have never used online test before and would like to try it out before subscribe a account, feel free to access our Demo Test free of charge.Naturally, with a real account, you can access the specific grade level and subject area that you wish to practice, or even narrow down on a single unit of a particular subject.

 What if nothing happens when I click on a "Start Test" button?

You likely have a pop-up window blocker installed on your computer, and rather than have it configured to just block windows that pop up automatically, it is configured to stop any new windows from opening. Online Test Centertries to open a new window every time you click on a "Start Test" button. If you click on "Start Test" and nothing appears to happen, simply add www.starpoint.com.sg to your pop-up blockers trusted sites list. For more information on how to do this, select the blocker installed on your computer from one of below:

 Can my username and password be shared with my friends?

Yes! You are purchasing a certain quota for your account. If you choose to share this password with friends or your sibling, then you will be sharing your quota. Once the quota is used up by writing practice exams, you will have to purchase more if you wish to continue studying with online test bank. So be careful who you share your account information with!

 How can the payment for an account be made?

For personal accounts, we can accept payment on our web site (internet banking,cheque and Paypal), Be aware that we wait for payment to be received before setting up an account - this means that accounts paid by cheque can take a week or so to be created, we do not encourge you to use credit card as many of us do not feel comfortable entering credit card information directly on internet.  What happens when my quota runs out?
 如果我的订额(Logins的次数)用完了,我该怎么办?
When you finally deplete the quota you have purchased, you will receive a message when you attempt to log in that tells you that your quota has been depleted. You do not have to worry about exceeding your purchased quota of practice tests. Before or after your quota has been depleted, you can always renew your account by adding more logins.
